There is always an excellent variety of merchandise, including 18th century drinking glasses, Victorian pressed glass, early 20th century Art glass from makers such as Galle, Daum, Lalique and Loetz, studio glass by some of the most talented contemporary glass artists working in the UK and a good selection of antique and modern paperweights.

Art Nouveau and Art Deco glassware remains popular with visitors to the glass fair, whilst modern Studio Glass from the 1950s, 60s and 70s is becoming increasingly collectable. The popularity of these items has resulted in exhibitors buying Scandinavian, Italian and Bohemian glass from this period to meet the demand. Glassware from manufacturers such as Orrefors, Whitefriars and Seguso is particularly sought after.

There are always good examples of glass for people with more traditional tastes. Coloured and crystal cut-glass is always extremely popular and our exhibitors sell examples from various quality manufacturers, including Stevens and Williams, Val St. Lambert, Thomas Webb, Stuart Crystal, Webb Corbett and Richardsons.

Contemporary glass is also incredibly popular with visitors to our fair and in addition to the specialist dealers selling contemporary glass, the National Glass Fair also attracts leading contemporary glass artists, such as Jonathan Harris and Vic Bamforth.

Whatever your taste or budget, you will always find interesting examples of glass at our fairs. Many of our exhibitors sell exclusively at the National Glass Fair and visitors return time and again to find new items of glassware that are not available to buy anywhere else.
