Fusing - inspired by antique bowls

You will learn how to cut glass using a variety of methods and use a variety of glass fusing and slumping techniques. You will use a range of glass fusing accessories to explore colour, texture, form and create samples of these techniques to keep as reference for future glass projects. You will research and explore via visual resources some of the beautiful bowls created in the past from Greek and Roman artefacts to Chinese willow pattern, looking at all cultures, and find one to inspire your own design. Some experience of working with glass would be preferred but is not essential.
