Kate Pasvol

After many years in architecture and teaching Kate is now working in fused and cast glass based in her studio in North London. Her work shows her interested in the way glass reflects and manipulates light. She uses these properties to invoke movement within glass in particular reference to landscape and the female torso.

Kate’s recent work has been involved in land and seascapes and in particular the landscapes of Wales. Recently influenced by the walker and illustrator Wainwright she has been creating “books” which represent walks. Kate’s work has been selected for the British Glass Biennale 2017 and 2019 and she was awarded the Warm Glass Peoples prize 2019.
