"When I was a little girl I wasn't allowed to run with scissors. Now I play with fire and broken glass!" This sign hangs in the doorway of Miranda Griffiths' glass studio and is an expression of her joy and enthusiasm for her glass art.

Using a variety of temperatures and techniques, Miranda designs and produces a unique range of glass art that can be functional as well as beautiful. She also incorporates sand blasting to etch designs into glass which is particularly effective in lanterns and candle screens.
