I have fallen in love with glass. I am planning to build an exceptional facility for glass art in the grounds of our home Thornbridge Hall in the Peak District National Park. Large Hot shop and more. A place in which glass artists can flourish using the best equipment, furnaces and kilns ... and show/sell their work to our thousands of visitors.
I am learning as fast as I can about glass and the myriad of possibilities. I have decided that i can contribute to the amazing world of glass. My background is as a Mechanical Engineer, long term serial entrepreneur and serial philanthropist. As a young woman I helped build steam trains and loved steel – i have now found glass – or rather it found me.
