Lesley Cowley
I began working with glass more than 30 years ago, starting with stained and leaded glass. I now focus on fused glass in my studio on the banks of the infant River Thames in Cricklade. I love teaching glass and run very popular Taster and other lessons.
I am also an author and have published a tutorial on how to make a fused glass beach hut, plus I regularly write for a Management magazine on business issues.
My work is strongly influenced by living next to the River Thames, by nature and the lovely Cotswolds countryside. I love to use the qualities of glass to represent the sea and water. I also make glass beach huts and houses, flower panels and special commissions.
