I live in Leeds and I work in both stained and watercolours with etched picture glass. My stained glass pieces are usually 3d.
I have work at present in Primavera Gallery in Cambridge and in Kunsthuis in Crake, North Yorkshire. I exhibit regularly with Roundhay Artists in Leeds and take part in Staithes Art and Heritage Festival.
My recent work uses foiled glass, wire and mirror to create 3d pieces. I incorporate figures in relation to flights of birds and often the environment which surrounds them. The birds are usually taking flight and the people often in quiet reflection, it is that balance between the tensions of life and the possibilities of movement and escape.
