The beauty of Glass has always held a deep fascination for me, there’s something technically demanding about glass that keeps me engaged and I believe it provides today’s contemporary artists a greater challenge than working with any other medium. Glass can be unyielding, brittle, and often just downright stubborn. Persistence, patience, and good time management are prerequisites to the process, and supplies and equipment can be expensive. That said, when everything works together, the incredible effects of heat, chemistry, and flow, have the ability to create art with light refraction, transparency, and translucency, only possible in glass.
