Scott Benefield
Scott Benefield has been involved in the field of studio glass for over 25 years as a glassblower, writer and workshop leader. He has taught cane techniques at Pilchuck, Penland, Haystack and at numerous universities in the US and abroad. In 2015 he was Rosemary James Memorial Award by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
I work primarily as a glassblower, using cane techniques that were first developed on Murano but I am interested in updating and innovating upon those traditions.
