Promoting contemporary glass and glass makers
We promote and support cutting edge glass and glass-makers within the wider art world. Founded in 1997, our objective is to encourage excellence in glass as a creative medium and develop a greater awareness of contemporary glass world-wide. We have connections with over 1000 artists, academics, suppliers, collectors, galleries, and enthusiasts and a membership of over 600. The CGS is open to anyone working in or interested in contemporary glass.
CGS will be offering Mentorships, starting in Oct 2010. Forms: Mentors application form , Mentees Application form deadline 6th September
