The Thread across the Sea – two women show at the Scottish Fisheries Museum

Friday, June 1, 2012 - 10:00 to Friday, July 27, 2012 - 17:30

An exhibition has been inspired by personal relationships with Japanese culture. Both Keiko Mukaide and Jeanette Shendler have strong connections to Japan and were heart-broken by the news of the Tsunami disaster. A series of site-specific installations are planned in the boatyard and museum garden. Workshops for local children and adults will be held during the exhibition.

Workshop for family and children, Fri. 6th July 13-15pm

Sail off into a glass bottle, make a origami boat
