Memorial – Commemorating the First World War in glass

Stories of individuals and communities affected by the First World War were commemorated in many works of art made from glass.

This exhibition from Swansea School of Glass displays a selection of cartoons(glass designs) and contemporary glassworks that are a response to WW1.

We are inviting glass artists to response to this call to produce either a full size cartoon or glass panel.

Size 300mmx 300mm roundel

Please send an email expressing interest to: by August 10th

Panels and cartoons required be sent by Friday 21st November.

We are asking the work not to be mounted.

We have place no restrictions on the type or technique used for the glass

The brief is your response to the centenary of World War 1.
