Jewellery Making

8th May 2015

An introduction to making jewelery with glass.
Suitable for beginners and improvers

Design and create your own unique pieces of jewellery, which can be taken home after firing.

No previous experience is required as we cover glass cutting, the basics of fusing, design, shape and colour. Using both our standard and microwave kilns, you will soon master the techniques needed to make beautiful bracelets, necklaces, earrings and cufflinks. We can also advise on what is needed to set up your own studio if required.

This course is run by the enthusiastic Jenny Barker, who, not only teaches at Wrexham University, but also runs a successful glass design company.

It is held at our fully equipped studio at 32 Wellington Park, Dunes Way, Liverpool L5 9RJ.

You will only need to bring a sturdy pair of shoes, as all materials, glass, tools and safety equipment are provided. We also supply refreshments on site and lunch is included at a nearby café.
