25th March 2017

Suitable for beginners this Glass Jewellery day is a great introduction to glass fusing.

You will learn glass cutting techniques and gain an understanding of the principles of glass fusing. We will explore how the characteristics of glass can be used to create different shapes with basic glass cutting skills.

Included in the day is a supply of coloured and dichroic glass, frit and glass decals to use to make pendants, earrings and more. A selection of findings will be available for you to complete your pieces as well as several samples of finished pieces for reference.

You will take home at least 2 fired pieces of Jewellery and leave some pieces to be fired in the kiln and picked up at a later date.

This workshop is run for 2 students at a time so you are guaranteed individual attention and a relaxed non-competitive environment to work in.

Tea, Coffee and snacks will be provided but lunch is not included. The village centre is a short distance away or you can bring lunch with you and if it’s a nice day we can lunch outside.
