commission to design
To mark the 50th year of Wildlife Photographer of the Year, the Natural History Museum is offering UK based artists, designers and makers a unique opportunity to win a £25,000 commission to design and create the trophies and medals for the 2014 prize-winners, and subsequent winners of this world renowned photography competition.
Entry is free. Entrants will be asked to submit images and details of previous work; a description and images of the proposed designs for both the trophy and medal; and information regarding the manufacturing process and production costs. The winning design must sustainable so easy to reproduce for the Awards in future years, and must also be easy to transport.
