After the success of their Favours commission (which attracted 45 entries), the Glass Sellers’ Company of London have another exciting project which will involve 10 artists.
Next September the City of London will commemorate the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London. The Glass Sellers’ Company wishes to pair the 10 artists with 10 London area schools, each to make an artwork on the theme of the Great Fire. This is an exciting project and the events during the commemoration week are expected to attract national attention.

16th September – 8th October 2016 CLOSING DATE: 6th February 2016
London Glassblowing, known for its extensive use of colour, is excited to be hosting the 2016 CGS exhibition - Black to White and Back Again. The challenge is to strip away all colour and we hope that this theme will inspire extraordinary solutions to the brief.
We invite member of CGS to propose functional, sculptural, or decorative objects in black, white, clear and/or any shades of grey between. No cheeky bits of colour!Pam Reekie
