History lies around us

Memories lie within us

Both are moments in time

Some are ephemeral; some are carved in our souls

At Alx Creations I endeavour to hold those memories and the emotions they evoke, in beautiful, handcrafted glass. I work on a range of pieces from architectural glass and public art to smaller works of art for the home and jewellery. I am also available to create bespoke pieces for a range of customers and run one to one workshops.

Karina Wyroba

Hello, I am a student at De Montfort University, Leicester, studying Design Crafts. My favorite material to work with is glass, and I have many hours of fun experimenting and always trying out new techniques and processes. I love how the unexpected occurrences and ''happy accidents'' make things that never come out quite as I expect them to.

My love affair with glass started about 8 years ago and delights me with the many ways I have found to express my 'creative' self! I am.an ex Primary school teacher and now have so much more time to devote to designing and creating my fused glass designs and lampworking which has inspired me.

S. Bornemann

I am a studio-jeweller based in Mueden/Aller, Germany. I mainly work in glass (Pate-de-verre, enamel and lampwork) and silver. Apart from creating jewellery I love travelling and photography.

Dan is a 2014 graduate from Royal College of Art in London.
Currently working in both London and Melbourne, and exhibiting internationally.

Born and raised in Munich, Germany, Heike Brachlow received her BA in 2004 from the University of Wolverhampton, her MA in 2006 and her PhD in 2012 from the Royal College of Art in London. She primarily works as a self-employed artist from her studio at Parndon Mill, and as an educator, teaching at the Royal College of art as well as short courses at various summer schools.

I used to write and illustrate children's books, ten years ago I changed to fusing glass. I wish I had discovered it before! It gives me immense pleasure.

Ashley Brammer

I'm an Industrial Design Graduate from the Royal College of Art and an accomplished Engineer. I use both strands of my experience to create imaginative and challenging pieces from Kiln Cast and Fused Glass, sometimes combined with wrought iron and other materials.
I now focus full time on that wonderous material glass!
