Johannes von Stumm received his diploma in Fine Art from the Academy in Munich/Germany in 1988. He became a Fellow of the Royal British Society of Sculptors in 2003 and was elected President of the Society in 2009.He has given lectures at Schools, Universities and Colleges and has exhibited his work worldwide.

Johannes von Stumm works in stone, glass and iron, fusing these materials together to create symbols of a finely balanced and fragile unity. Since seven years he develops figurative work using space and metal.
