Drill and copper wheel engraver on glass, taught by Peter Dreiser at Morley College 1984-7. Happy to teach short workshops with the Guild of Glass Engravers and CGS etc. Member of Contemporary Applied Arts, Fellow of the Guild of Glass Engravers, elected member of The Art Workers Guild. Always interested in collaborative work with glass makers and to hear from glass blowers who are confident overlay artists working with lead crystal.
Working on both clear and colour overlaid glass blown to her design by Andy Potter & Becky Morgan.Engraving on glass does not need to be traditional in style or content. Solo show at ZeST Gallery in February 2007, Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh 2008 & 2011, Galerie Helene Poree in Paris 2009 & 2012, 'Modern Masters' in Munich in March with the Bavarian Crafts Council 2011, 'Collect' with the Scottish Gallery in 2009,2010,2011 and with Adrian Sassoon in 2012 at the Saatchi Galleries in London, also TEFAF 2011 & 2012 with Adrian Sassoon.Work in many public collections incl. V&A, Kunstsammlungen der Veste Coburg, National Museums of Scotland (see website for full list). Regularly teaches short courses at West Dean Chichester, BildWerk Frauenau in Germany (next is August 2012) and at the Escuela de Vidrios at San Ildefonso de La Granja in Spain. Awarded the MBE for services to glass engraving in 2009.
