Details about work or recent projects

I am a contemporary artist living and working in North Norfolk, UK.
Making by hand in a reflective dialogue with the materials is a key aspect of my practice and understanding and pushing the materiality of an object is usually the starting point for each individual piece of work.
Through making I am also exploring the nature of chaos and order, fragmentation and vulnerability to create work which I hope which invites reflection and space to pause.
My work draws strongly on my reaction against digital means of production, consumerism, over consumption and over complexity. So I am working towards simplifying to the point of austerity and drawing on a limited colour palette. Less is always still way too much
