Linda Thomson
Textured Dichroic glass pendant
My name is Linda Thomson and I live near the country town of Biggar, with my husband two dogs and three cats. I have always been interested in crafts, particularly Papier Mache bowls and vases, glass and silk painting. I have been making Dichroic glass jewellery for about two years selling locally through shops, crafts fairs, and the internet.
Details about work or recent projects
I specialise in kiln fired Dichroic glass jewellery combined with Sterling Silver. Each piece of glass is cut by hand, filed, layered and fired in a kiln, the piece can be fired up to three or four times, any rough edges are then smoothed and fire polished. Each piece of jewellery is totally unique. I am very passionate about my work and always striving to add a new dimension to my jewellery.
