2009 CGS 'Unpolished', Experimental Glass Jewellery, selected exhibitor. 2008 Warm Glass Prize, 2nd prize student category. 2008 V&A Inspired by, Competition. Selected exhibitor and Winner of the Access prize, sponsored by The Louvre Museum, Paris and presented by Matthieu Decraene of the Louvre. Sara's cast glass ring and cache entitled 'O' Precious, was inspired by Prof. Keith Cummings piece in the museums collection entitled 'Windfall'. 2007 Pewter Live Competition, 3rd prize Architectural Fixtures and Fittings category. Judges chaired by Sebastian Conran. Sara's entry entitled 'Jewellery for the Home' used an innovative technique, capturing the molten Pewter in fused Glass tiles, which were incorporated into the Pewter Door Furniture. |
