Amanda studied Mural Design at Chelsea School of Art in the early 1980's.
Since that time she has been working with glass,
designing and making her own work in both leaded and fused glass.
Her work is used in many settings, domestic and ecclesiastical.
She runs courses in stained glass from her studio in Surrey.
Most recently Amanda has completed a set of 3 3metre diameter lunette windows for Darnley Mausoleum in Kent.
Working in conjuction with Godstone Glass these windows were made to a design by the architect James Wyatt in 1786.

This plate is one of a series inspired by the humble herb!
The aventurine green 1mm strips alternated with leaf green give the plate a fantastic sparkle and small air bubbles are there to represent the dew.

The Web 2005
Work 2 Description
This spiders web was produced using glass fusing and leading.
It was inspired by a very early walk and seeing the dew on the cobwebs.
It evokes the idea of a secret and long neglected garden.
It has been used as a display piece.

The Cross

This is deep sanblasted and acid polished cross made up of the words of the 23rd Psalm.
